'Freaks'

For my mock FMP I started by looking at the Victorian Circus and my first project was to design my sisters 21st Birthday party. This got me looking into 'freak show' and how wrong they were. Then I started looking at what/who was in the Victorian 'Freak' show and I started to see that there was nothing different about these people to those who are considered 'normal'. They are unique and to me i think those who are unique are awesome in their own way. So yes these people are different but so am I, but I love the fact I am different this is why I felt okay with looking into this subject, people are not the same and we are all different and we all have time when we feel like a 'Freak' and not our self. But this is still a very delicate subject so I started looking into Circus of Horrors and how they make the 'freak' show there own so instead of finding people that are born different they look at people who use their talents.  there are a lot of talented people in this circus and I am most interested in two acts, the Contortionists and the Garry Stretch. this is because they can move and change their body to do things that do not look right.
