Samples For Skins

 

For this sample i was trying to make it look like human skin with a rash and it is printed on paper but i think it would look good on different fabrics. 

Felted blisters for this i used a felting needle to make a big lump on the felt. for one of them i used a pompom and needle felted it on to the felt. (all the felt was felted by me). i really like how these have worked out because i think they really look like pop-able blisters. 

this is my needle felted bruise, it looks like a bruise but it would be better if i lightened it a bit. But i still really like the result. to make it i needle felted it from the back with bruise colours.   

this is my Caul sample, for this i used Cristilina fibers and ironed string and wool between the Cristilina

here i used needle felting tothis is my take on snake skin and i know that it doesn't really look like a snake but it is how i made it look and now I'm thinking of doing snake skin using weave. this was made using knit.




For this i was trying to make a zebra skin. i did this with the needle felting felt through some felt.

this is a skin rash that i needle felted into some felt i make.

these are two gashes i made by needle felting.
