For my skins dress I used flesh coloured voile as the main fabric for the bass and then I used white Merino wool to needle felt through the voile. This made the fabric look like something you would see on a professional catwalk. Then I cut up the side and made a slit. This made it easier to walk while wearing the dress and then I made a piece of felting and thought it would look good in the slit so I machine sewed it in the left slit, but then I couldn't walk as well. Then I put a slit in the right side. I also needle felted some bruises, cuts and rashes on the dress using coloured Merino wool. I really like the end result and it looked really good going down the Sewhat catwalk.
