FMP

I am now looking at set design and behind the scenes on small set like on Coraline and Fantastic Mr Fox. For my FMP I am going to design the set for Roald Dahl's The Twits and I will make it by looking at the illustration of Helen Craig. This is because I love the way she illustrated Angelina Ballerina. I have been reading Angelina Ballerina since I was a little girl and I always loved trying to draw Angelina. I wasn't that good and I haven't tried drawing her since I was 10 but I will try drawing in this style again but I will probably adapt it to my own style. I really like Helen Craig's style because it's very detailed and cutesy. For the twits it will have to be the opposite to cutesy. I will be researching in to windowless houses and things in big and see how I can make them in scale smaller. i will be working in wood, card and whatever I find.
