Lucy

Some of you may not think there is no life beyond planet Earth; but I know there is. It all started when I went to feed my rabbit, Lucy one day. I gave her the food and a bit more hay, when suddenly there was a really bright light and a smell of new carpet and milk. Then there was no noise, smell or anything for about 12 seconds but it felt like forever. Then a vast abstract object flew across my house once and appeared to have crash landed in my neighbouring garden; knocking over the fence from my garden to the next doors. I quickly went and hid behind my shed. I just poked my head my head out to see what was going on. 

It went dark and the big thing that had appeared next door. It looked like a round, jelly; object but it kept changing shape. Meanwhile a round door appeared, opened and I saw a strange creature (with 2 purple, sizeable eyes, with purple, crusty eyelids, with a green, long, thick beak, and pink, huge, elephant like ears, on a blue, undersized, fuzzy, hourglass shaped head, on a yellow, fat, soft skinned body, with an lime green, outy-belly button, and two, yellow, fat legs and two, orange, skinny arms, with pointy elbows and hands with thin, long, bony fingers) stride from the round door over to Lucy's cage and opened the cage door. It picked up my Lucy and took her away. There was a bright light again and it was gone. My baby was gone.

‘What happened next?’ You may ask. Well she was gone for about 5 days. I missed her but I knew it was for the best. Lucy was made for something and I always knew it. I just hoped she was okay.

But something happened to Lucy when she was gone. When she returned, she was different. Lucy before was a fluffy, soft, cute rabbit that wouldn't hurt a thing. She ate what I gave her and would want no more. She had big, beautiful, blue eyes. But after when she was returned, she ate anything and everything, she had bright yellow eyes that pierced through you like a dagger. Her skin was not soft or fluffy, it was like wire. She had grown 7 times her size and the cuteness had gone. But I knew it was still her and I thought to myself, 'I WILL get her back.'

The growing: Everyday Lucy needed more to eat. She was hungry. She was turning into the Godzilla of all rabbits. She wanted food and I got it for her, she was still my baby. So I was still going to treat her as my little princess. But she just wouldn't stop; she ate my car. News teams arrived and told the world "it's a raving, rabbit, ranting through the streets; Rioting for food and raging for blood." But she did not want blood, she was just hungry. She was making her way into the big city of London.

But who was going to stop her? I knew I was the only one on Earth. So I called up the first taxi I could possibly get. But all the taxi companies would not go anywhere near her. I remembered, my shed was still standing. I quickly got my bike, rode as fast as a running outrage. I got there to discover Lucy was crushing the Tower of London. 

Then I shouted out 'LUCY,' ran over to her, looked up and shouted 'LUCY' again. She looked down, picked me up, looked into my eyes and she stopped. She stopped the destruction and stopping the growing. Then we went home, thinking that was the end of it. Now Lucy was shrinking it must be all over. But who was going to fix the destruction?

You may wonder well... us! We started all this mess. We are going to fix all of it. Sorry for starting this mess, it was just a little lesson. Please forgive me and my people! We will make it all right and add a little more fun in your lives.
